  Great range of odds and ends, particularly for period properties. Bought a door knocker which had an oversized through-bolt and they cut it to size free of charge when I popped back in

  Would normally always try and choose smaller, more independent shops, such as this one over your bigger B&Qs ect. However, after my mother and sister visited the store looking for a few locks, they came back to me deeply disappointed with the customer service. The guys were patronising and lacked interest in helping them, after reading the other reviews this seems to be the norm. Wouldn't go back and don't see this place lasting if they keep this patter up. Choose B&Q or Wickes over these jokers. Terrible.

  I phoned to enquire about front door furniture but was really disappointed. The man who answered the phone seemed unhelpful and disinterested. I was going to spend about £300 - £400 in total but I'd rather buy from somewhere that has better pre-sales service.

  Great range with excellent quality items. They offer everything from handles to knockers to keys and everything is out on show for you to see. Unfortunately I had one employee who was blinded by his own arrogance and rudeness and basically made out as though I was a great inconvenience despite me buying some 15 items. It's a real shame because if they didn't have such a good range I would've left.
