  I am an easy going guy but from the outset our experience here was aweful! We had planned a 5 day trip but the vehicle was in such bad condition we returned the vehicle after 2 days. The vehicle was discusting and I got a urinary tract infection after using the broken toilet. Rent from another place.

  This service could be bad in past, but they likelly made a lesson from their mistakes. They are very communicative ( even during weekend I got answers to my questions). It's not a big company, that's true, but in the same time it's cheaper. Reason is paying just what I was itnerested to - motorhome. Not office for some secretaries. They have new motorhome from this year (even I don't care if I get working motorhome few years old). Owner seems to be interested in what he is doing, answering patiently all my questions about insurance, motorhome itself and scotland. 5 Starts from me

  I rented a Motorhome for a trip to Fochabers and appreciated Malcolm's attention to detail, from the booking through to the handover. The Motorhome drove like a car and certainly helped me enjoy the trip. Many thanks.

  Just wanted to let everyone know about a bad experience we had with Edinburgh Motorhomes. Unfortunately we read the other negative reference reported on Google too late. Edinburgh Motorhomes is not a real rental Company. It does not exist. On the web you can find a site but they have no offices or headquarters....nor in Newbridge as reported on the web site, nor in Bathgate, where they ask you to go to pick up the vehicle. It is basically a private business run by a guy named Malcolm Saunders. Stay away from this dishonest person as much as you can. I drove all the way from Italy to Edinburgh to rent a motorhome. I paid 200£ in advance. The motorhome was definitely different from the pictures on the web site....extenal scratches and damages on all sides.. The water tub was broken...closet handles the same. The seats were filthy.. The toilet door was broken and the shower door was missing (!)... Mal told us that the vehicle had been damaged only a week before and he did not have the time to replace the broken parts....unfortunately you can find on google a negative reference dated 11 months before, reporting the same issues. Due to the bad conditiones of the vehicle we refused to take it. Of course there was no way to get any reimbursement even partially. Terrible experience. Stay away from Malcolm Saunders.

  DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS - RUN! This is not a proper motor home rental company. (I have used a few). It appears to be a one man show (owner named Malcolm Saunders) operating out of a public parking area. The motor home was received hours late, not cleaned, damaged exterior and interior- smashed indicator lights, loose bumpers, undercarriage cover scraping on the road, leaking toilet, no main light in cabin, impossible to open cupboards, filthy cutlery and crockery, smell of gasoline from un-requested generator in cabin, to mention just a few. We didn't even try to use the shower or TV. There were warning lights alight on the dashboard the entire trip - I spent the whole time praying we wouldn't break down in some remote area. Bedding appeared to be what the owner happened to have in the car at the time, no kitchen towels supplied. (When I complained the owner suggested we buy our own and he would reimburse, same for toilet repair- get it repaired on our holiday time- right). Right until the end, it was impossible to get a proper invoice for full payment made, despite asking for it every single day of the holiday. I have only mentioned a few of the many problems. If you want to enjoy your holiday don't use this company. I wont be surprised if this business will disappear at the end of the season and reopen under a different name and address next one. They are certainly not building on return customers.
