  Shameful service and the contact system is dreadful. I have resorted to changing my passport to British as the service over the years has been appalling!

  Most Useless Place in the world. Not a place to get anything done - they don't care if you lost your passport, if you tried to call every minute for about 40mins with the phone always being 'busy' or if you turn up in person. Shockingly lazy, incredibly annoying and frustrating! Top tip: Would be great to get some useful people in there.

  The worst embassy in the Europe. It's almost impossible to make an appointment.

  Asked for a 1 year Schengen visa for my wife as I was travelling to Italy in October and again in January then onto Spain in June, all they gave me was a 6 week visa even though my mother was Italian, which means I now have to visit VFS again in December to get another Visa, I might not bother and go somewhere else instead. How come the French embassy gave my wife a 1 year Schengen visa a couple of years ago, no problem. I can see why they get poor reviews!
