::I bought my car from here a couple of weeks ago, good little car. The wheel bearing was going but they agreed to fix it before sale, due to miscommunication within the dealership it didn’t get done so when I picked it up I was a bit angry, however when I got in contact with them, which was very hard and took a lot of long phone calls just to get through to some one and even harder to get the right person (partly down to the phone lines been moved and floor being refurbished inside), after this they agreed for me to just bring it in and they will sort it. Happy with my new car. The staff were friendly and offered me refreshments. Only thing I would say they can improve on is communication to eachother and with customers so everyone knows what’s going on. Overall I’m happy with the vehicle and price, but it wasn’t an easy purchase when it could have gone smoother.

::Visited a few times, good range of cars and prices are fairly competitive. Unfortunately the sales staff were dismissive and rude, ultimately driving me away from the sale. The admin fee of near one-hundred pounds to tax a vehicle (with zero road tax) and conduct a HPI check is hugely overpriced. There are some good points but I'd recommend an independent / local dealer for better service.

::I’ve bought several vehicles over the years from here and it’s always been a pleasant enough experience. Of course they have the usual gambit of sales techniques to try get a sale, but more recently that seems to have been toned down. I wouldn’t hesitate to look here again for my next vehicle if I was buying used. I would however warn against their maintenance and warranty plans and their GAP insurance, cheaper to buy elsewhere, especially the GAP insurance, save hundreds buying elsewhere.

::Bought a BMW 3 series from here in february 2017. I drove it home not even 10 miles away, and the next day the engine was misfiring badly. I took it straight back and demanded a refund. They managed to talk me out of it, but I sincerely regret not persisting. Now luckily I paid for a years warranty (at an extortionate price I might add), so they put it in their garage and fixed the issue. Or so I thought. Every couple of months, like clockwork, the same problem was occuring. BMWs are very expensive to fix at the best of times, so I couldn’t afford to take it to a decent garage to be fixed and instead relied on the warranty. Every time, they would tell me it was a different issue and they’d ‘fixed’ it. Paid £45 for diagnostics each time, a detail they conveniently left out at the start. And the issue persisted. Sometimes they’d tell me the issue wasn’t covered by the warranty and I’d incur additional fees. They told me twice that it was a dodgy fuel injector, and charged me for replacing it and all the spark plugs when it didn’t need it. The warranty ran out last month, and I knew I couldn’t afford to fix it if anything went wrong again, so I put it up for sale. A dealer took it off my hands, paid me, and 3 miles down the road guess what happened? Engine misfiring. He got it towed back to his neck of the woods and took it to a proper garage. Turns out there was a bent valve causing the misfire; something the usless buggers at evans halshaw would have noticed if they’d bothered taking the cylinder head off to have a look. I’ve had to fork out £880 to get it fixed and I don’t even have the car anymore. I wish I’d have kept all the paperwork and relevent documents to prove that evans halshaw have royally f***ed me over, and demand a refund or take the thieving bastards straight to court. Unfortunately I’m an idiot and I don’t keep good records. Moral of the story people, don’t be an idiot like me. Avoid this place like the plague, or you could end up pissing 7 grand (and the rest) up the wall.

::Great bargain deals. Sales team were rude and took forever to deal with my finance. Probably because I wasn't buying a pricier car. A young lady called Harriet was lovely and apologetic.
