  Me and my partner bought a car from this dealership as it was recommended to us from a family member who also has a car from there. As soon as we got to the dealership we were approached within 5 minutes of us looking at cars . We got all the help we needed and all advice that we were looking for about a new car. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. we had an amazing experience of buying our first car together here and would highly recommend.

  After booking an appointment over the phone and driving to Middlesbrough, the sales agent was unwilling to allow me to test drive the Nissan Note available on the basis that it may not have been the car I was interested in buying. Of course the purpose of a test drive is to gain a better idea of the right car by experiencing it. I did state I was interested in driving both the older and newer design Notes. Very pushy sales manner. I effectively walked out. I have had a few test drives recently and no other dealership has left me with this feeling.

  What a great service and experience from start to finish when buying a new Nissan from Evans Halshaw Nissan Middlesbrough. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend buying from them and I will be buying from there again in the future.

  If your thinking about visiting this place I advise you to run for the hills. Unethical selling practice, even at the service side. My experience was with my recent Nissan purchase (£16k) from another Nissan dealer. I got extended warranty with my car. I made a routine service appointment with this dealer, when I turned up at 8.30am I was told that my warranty has ran out and my extended warranty is not with this dealer. I spent 2 hours on the phone back and forth, only then I proved to them that I did in fact have extended warranty, they didn't even bother checking their database, straight away told me I have to pay for servicing. On top of this, during my service, they wanted to charge me for repairs that were not required. I know this as I forwarded the invoice to the original Nissan dealer I bought the car from and the told me that they don't agree with the repair. Straight con men. Not once did they even apologies, even their manager was rude as anything, telling me "you didn't even buy the car from us". I will travel to Newcastle from now on whenever I need to service my car.
