  Absolutely stunning college with a 740 year old dining hall. This is also the college Tolkien graduated from.

  Fine, ancient college as well as film set for The Golden Compass and many episodes of Morse - in fact, the great Inspector collapsed in Exeter's front quad towards the end of his final episode.

  I loved staying here during my summer abroad! My favorite spot is the garden in the second Quad with a great view of Radcliffe square

  You know the phrase, "when a door closes another opens"? Somehow I felt that the phrase is so true here as my guide takes us from one door through to the next. There is door at Exeter College that leads to the Fellow's Garden which hides an amazing view. I'm glad I followed a walking tour, otherwise I would have missed this amazing view that hidden out of sight. This vantage point is within Exeter College's Fellow's Garden.
