::Was amazed on arrival considering it's a 3 star hotel .. the hotel overall is really nice well done with a 5 star feel .. the decor is a bit outdated but think it adds to its persona .. I did feel that the food was very nice everything cooked perfectly but £23 for just steak and chips was overpriced and underwhelming... Great visit tho staff are brilliant very friendly and ready to help with any issue . Definitely recommend a visit

::Great location and a lovely place to stay for a few days. Friendly and helpful staff. Some rooms quite small but very clean. Ate at the glasshouse every night and the food was nice and the service great. Been coming here for many years and will return.

::Bedroom good. Bathroom okay but noisy extractor fan. Food good. Staff helpful. Real ale in bar not available. Good for our 2 night break.

::Lovely traditional hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms pretty well appointed and comfortable although if you're a light sleeper, the creaky hallway floors might not be your friend in certain rooms. Swimming pool and sauna is nice although changing facilities are looking a little tired. WiFi is free but a bit slow. Breakfast was great and dinner was good but portions could have been slightly bigger. Real ale was only available by bottle but other than that, it was an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again
