  Rude receptionist, can't make an appointment in advance through reception and can only get the doctor to call on the day who will then arrange an appointment with you. The issue with this is I work on am environment where we can't answer mobile phones and usually I will finish shift or get to break and find voicemail from Dr, call back and can't get through so it takes ages to simply get an appointment. Whilst the doctors are good they are let down by rude reception and system that surely gives them more work load as they have to call each patient before making an appointment? Reception ask what the issue is so why can't they make an appointment likes many other practices? In many places where you can now book online it seems this practice is stuck in the dark ages and with bad luck you will often get the ride receptionist who really needs to move on to a role where she does not have to deal with people.

  Receptionists are rude, and the system where you have to tell the receptionists about your illness who then pass it onto a doctor who will then call later in the day is stupid. You can’t book appointments for a certain date either, they only do on the day ones which is rubbish for people who work etc.

  Staff working under immense pressure, but I've always found them polite, very helpful and courteous. I've been with this practice since it was on London Road (15 years in total) and have always been extremely happy with the service.

  My fiancée is disabled and I sort a organise his medications each month. They manage to cock it up. They are rude and don't give patients the medications they require. We have moved up the country and I have never known a doctors surgery like this. Today I am removing him

  I wouldn't even give them a star. the worst surgery i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, concentrate only on their budgetary needs and nothing to do with the patient's health or welfare, absolute disgrace to the NHS and the system. would strongly suggest going elsewhere. I've told this doctors surgery several times i am having a continual bleed when going to the toilet but they are more concerned about lowering my medication for my long standing illness which specialists have cleared and told them to leave alone. so even though my father has bowel cancer and there is a high risk they would rather just worry about their budget than there patient's life or well being. DISGRACE!
