::Just wanted to say how great this place is. Had to have scaling performed due to years of not getting regular cleanings and also smoking. I was really nervous about the procedure. But, Vanessa Wood was great! She was professional but also really kind and gentle, which made the experience much better. Would definitely recommend her- especially if you have a bit of dentist fear like I do.

::I don't know where to start. First of all, when booking an appointment you expect to be seem within 5 minutes of your appointment time.. I had to wait at least 20 minutes after my appointment time for a molar extraction. I was attended by Alex who at first seemed to be nice. I sat down for the first look, he examined my mouth and it was apparent why I was there. Then I also asked, seeing as I was at the dentist to have my other teeth examined, you know, for good measure and to see if there is any advice to be given and any xrays needed to only have Alex rudely interrupt me saying, can we just take this tooth out today? From my knowledge, it being a band 2 treatment it also meant any band 1 treatment such as xrays and examination of the teeth came under what I went in for. This was neglected and we went ahead with the extraction of my tooth. Alex did not bother asking any information about my tooth, any history of dental care nor if I'd been to the service before which I would expect is the procedure. Alex went on to start removing my tooth, which granted was in pretty bad shape, thus cracking and being told it needs to come out in pieces. Seeing as I've never experienced such thing, I did not know the sensation and as soon as I felt a lot of pressure pushed down on my tooth and other teeth in fact I flinched like a normal patient would. Alex then asked if I would rather be referred to be sedated to which I did not know how to respond. After the tooth was extracted, I was merely given a sheet of paper and asked to sign te receipt document for my treatment's payment and bid goodbye. There were no additional gauzes providedin case of more bleeding upon removal of the initial gauze given. As a patient, I believe a dentist has an obligation to verbally advise their patients of what to do next, examine the patient regardless of what they are booked in for, in case there are any other treatments needed and also any advice for the future. I must say all the staff were nice but the one that mattered doing the treatment acted like his patient was a nuisance to his day. Now I am sitting in my living room wondering if my tooth has been taken out fully as there is a very hard bump on the side of my gums where the extracted molar once was. In addition to the bump, there is also a lot of grey and beige substance where there is supposed to be a blood clot formed. Also pretty sure that the two teeth next to the one extracted have dramatically moved inwards to the middle of my mouth as I feel them touching my tongue unlike before when speaking. All of the above being said, I will not be going to Genix for any dental treatments again and this is why people are scared to go to the dentist. Very poor service.

::I attended recently for my dental check up (after a courtesy phone call to remind me- very helpful!) All staff were very polite and attentive and I was seen to very promptly. I seen a different dentist today and he was very professional and comforting. The nurses are all very busy but always go the extra mile to make sure your happy. I would definitely recommend this practice to all my friends and family! (I do not have a gmail account so this is from my granddaughter's account)

::I have been a patient at this practice since I was 3 years old and I would not trust any other dentist. Mr Magson has been my dentist for most of the time and has been fantastic. He and the receptionists have always fitted me in as I work fulltime. Mr Magson even fitted me in for an emergency appointment on News Year Eve. My mother and father who are in their 80s still attend as have my 2 sons and husband. I have been very impressed with the service I have received over the past 43 years! I would not hesitate in recommending this dentist practice. Well done to everyone!

::Never again! The worst place ever! Had few things done in there: *Veneer - is not bonded to the tooth properly and needs replacing (gap between veneer and my tooth) *Crown - is longer than my other teeth and you can see massive gap between crown and my gum *Root canal treatment - my new dentist was shocked! re-treatment (re-endo under a microscope!), pain, antibiotics and a lot of money spent! Roots weren't treated properly - only half of the length and some material was forced past the root tip into the surrounding bone. Was told that everything was OK and treatment was finished but dentist left me with a temporary filling! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY - AVOID THAT PLACE
