::Disappointed. Where to begin? I was charged more than I was told, the colour wasn't what I asked for and to make matters worse after 5 days the colour has faded. I feel as if there was no point spending £131 which is a real shame. I was told I paid extra for a cut and finish but the last time I got my hair done it cost me £115 for a cut/restyle, bleach, toner, dye, finish and treatment? Odd. To make matters worse the stylist didn't say it would cost me more, he just asked if I'd like it straightened or curled. Hardly fair but unfortunately I felt obliged to pay as I was the last person in the salon and felt pressured as the staff wanted to lock up. The place is trendy, the staff are lovely, the cuts are such great quality but overall this experience has left me underwhelmed. - UPDATE 13/03/2018 - After reading your response to my review I am very upset. I think there has been some miscommunication. I have attached images below of our email conversation, the photo I gave the stylist as reference and also my hairs progression over the last 6 days. When I left the salon, on the 7th March, my hair was in a lot better condition than when I first arrived, It was upon leaving the salon and stepping into a different light I could see that it wasn't too different to the colour of my natural hair. This wasn't the look I paid £131 for, even if it did look nice. In the email you told me it would be £115 without including the student discount as I hadn't told you I was a student. You did however mention you did have student discount available. In my previous visit I had a lot more done for a lot less money. I do not have an issue with the amount you quoted me. I understand and appreciate that going to a good quality hair salon means I will have to pay this sort of money. However, the figure I paid was more than the amount quoted to me, and was also more than I paid at my last visit, and I have had no explanation as to why this is. I was also charged extra for my hair to be curled, but this was not ran past me when I was in the chair. The stylist simply asked if I would rather my hair curled or straightened. He did not state that this would come at an extra cost. Without the student discount, I was apparently looking at paying £146, which is far more than the £115 you quoted me in our email conversation. I would have brought this up on the day, however I felt as though I could not approach any member of staff to tell them how I was feeling when I was about to pay. I also wanted to buy a hair treatment, as I did last time, however I did not have the funds to do that. It would be great if we could resolve this issue. I am a great lover of your salon and am, currently, feeling very self-conscious and a bit let down. As a hair salon that aims to make people look and feel beautiful, I hope you can appreciate how I feel. - UPDATE - 14/03/2018 Hi Stephan, I will pop into the salon at some point this week to discuss the issues raised in person. I just wanted to add that I wouldn't have asked for pastel pink hair. The colour I used as reference was rose gold. If you look up "rose gold hair Guy Tang" on youtube, you will see the video that inspired my colour choice and the image I used as reference was from his account. As I am an apprentice (Which I spoke to Liam about a few times) I knew I wouldn't be able to afford the upkeep of pastel pink hair. I am also concerned that my cut should have cost £41. My hair has received a trim if anything, I did ask to have my layers put back in but that doesn't seem to have been done either. It's apparent that there needs to be a more effective system in place for service charges. It would also be useful if the receipts from your salon stated what services you paid for, not just the total amount paid. Thank you for your time, Jessica.

::Salvador is a wonderfully talented stylist, he has always made miracles for my untamed, frizzy hair. And the salon has good vibes, nice music and lots of beautiful plants. Highly recommended.

::I went on the Glitch website on a cold ,wet Monday afternoon and was able to book an appointment for that evening. It was Liam who cut my hair, and he did such a great job. I am a bit fussy with my hair it is thin, flat, and looks unloved. He cut some short chunky layers in there and made it feel alive! I am so delighted everytime I look in the mirror..thank you Liam @ Glitch in Old Market. My new regular hairdressers :D
