Great place to stay. Quiet, well equipped for the business traveler, and conveniently located close to Russell Square tube station. Reasonably good full English breakfast in the Great Hall. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very, well, institutional. Nothing practically wrong with them, but lacking in atmosphere and warmth. Otherwise the rooms are perfectly acceptable and very quiet. Water bottles included in the price which is good. Breakfast is held in an amazing hall which compensates for the rather pedestrian food.

If you are looking for a Rude Enough place to stay in otherwise polite Britain, this is your place! If you are looking for a Good Enough place, however, this hotel does not even come close. Subpar accommodation with rude staff. Remember that terrible snowstorm across the United States the first weekend of January 2018? Well, I couldn’t make it for the first two nights of my stay because of it. The staff I talked on the phone told me with notable smugness that I would just have to pay for my stay anyways. When I eventually made it to my room, I realized what I had booked: a tiny single bed for 150 pounds, about 200 dollars. IF YOU WANT A GOOD ENOUGH PLACE IN CENTRAL LONDON, BOOK YOURSELF A HOSTEL. DO NOT STAY IN THE RudeEnough hotel.

Ok, Rooms are separated from where you eat breakfast. Rooms are fine, it’s a bit like student accommodation! Breakfast is good, busy!

I am not sure how this hotel got a four star rating. This is more of a "four star" dorm and at best a two star hotel. The rooms are tiny, dirty and old. The decor is dorm-like. The breakfast is sub-par and is served in a college cafeteria. There way better places to stay in London unless you'd like to remember what is was like living in a dorm.
