  The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was very nice. Not much of a selection if you were just having continental though. The coffee was luke warm however when mentioned to a member of staff, she was very helpful & got a fresh pot. The rooms are very tired. The first one we got put into had wallpaper peeling off the wall in several places and had black damp patches on the walls. The mattress was very hard & a bit bumpy. We went to Reception who very kindly gave us a different room. This had a connecting door to a twin room which unfortunately didn't lock however the was no-one staying in the adjoining room so it wasn't a problem. The mattress was a lot more comfortable however the pillows were very flat and there were no extras in the room. The heating was off in the room so it was very cold but we could turn the radiator up so we did. The bathroom was very dated & there was no heat in the radiator. The hot water wasn't very hot in the evening but was the next morning. There was no information pack in the room that normally gives you check out times, places to eat or visit etc There should have been WiFi however we tried connecting several times during our stay and we couldn't. The decor in the rest of the hotel was mixed. The Reception area was very nice as was the restaurant/bar area. The rest of the hotel though was very tired. The carpet was thread bare in places on the stairs. The bar was very expensive paying nearly £12 for two medium glasses of wine.

  Just been for afternoon tea for my sisters hen do and glad to say carreg Bran did not disappoint. The sandwiches were delicious and fresh and a fabulous selection. Homemade quiche and sausage bits added to the savoury selection. The cakes were scrumptious and plentyful. We also recieved a berry trifle and a pina coleda cocktail. Fabulous afternoon spent , with attentive staff. Thank you so much, really looking forward to the wedding day now.

  Reasonable prices, handy to get to, just as you cross into Anglesey. Rooms are basic and a little out of date but if you want a friendly cheap place for a few nights it works well.

  Staff very friendly and helpful but we will not be staying again room was dirty quilt was stained with I don't know what room was freezing had to ask for a fan heater best part of the stay was the shower. Couldn't use the toilet properly as the seat was loose overall very disappointing

  Wedding reception for a friend held here.. Cracking job all round, really.. Excellent food and the staff were very helpful, made a lovely job of decorating and the day ran smoothly.
