::I left my sons bike for golden service, supposed to be ready in ten days time and what a surprise when we get there. Bike in complete dismount, nothing was done and service guy tryied to say it was ready, what a joke!!!! Make me livid as my son needs his bike to get to college. I took bike how it was to the local shop. Will never recommend Hereford Halfords to any one and will spread how they playing up!!!!

::Friendly staff. A little over priced but they often have guarantees/ warranties with their items. For car parts it's pretty easy and an accessible place to go to, they have a wide range of stock so things are usually available. Knowledge staff, they were very helpful when purchasing my son's car seat and also fit it for me. Overall a good place but bit pricey.

::I suppose the chain itself is a little overpriced - generally I have no complains; but I have never had a good experience in this store. When looking for a sump key, I asked if I could offer up a couple of the products to my car so that I could be sure I'd got the right part; I was told quite brusquely that "I won't walk back and forth between here and your car just to check that". This from a member of staff that I've seen in store for at least the last four years - customer service at it's most disappointing.
