    Very satisfying experience - I called in to look at dashcams. I spoke to a member of staff who was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the pros and cons of the different models. I made my decision and asked them to fit it while I went for coffee. I returned within an hour to find it neatly fitted with the cable hidden. A short briefing on how it all worked and I was on my way. Top marks from me.

    very unprofessional staff made an app for Saturday 4:30 to have a dash-cam fitted got there at 16:15 got another piece that wanted to purchase, went to till were two employees were very deep in conversation scan my item, we told them about 5 times "we also have a order to collect and app to fitter" totally ignore us until he was expecting payment I was still waiting. At 16:40 (that how long we ere on the till" they then acknowledge our existence and went off the get the cam. after fitted we had to come back coz the car wasn't attached correctly. after being at home had to go back because we were missing parts of the fitting kit. once there we were told they had run out of fitting kits and decided upon them serfs with out checking with the customer to use one of they improvised wire. Not happy about this because we were charged for the kit. Staff the audacity of saying "what you want me to do? its done Do you want me to take it off is that it? " when we said we either want the rest of the kit or the money back he went of to speak with manager and what do you know? we got the rest of the kit back! very disappointed, so happy this is not my regular halfords just used out one time convenience.

    I raced 10 miles to my nearest branch at Tunbridge Wells in order to get there for before doors closed at 8pm, along the route I got held up by one very slow driver being cautious in Icy conditions. Even so I raced and arrived at 8.01pm, as close to 8pm as you can get to find 3 members of staff bringing items in from outside the store. I pleaded could I please purchase 2 x Car Batteries off the shelf, that I had raced to get there in time and I found Neil to be most obnoxious and an embarrassment to his profession. He gave me every excuse off the cuff in a smug attitude, "The Tills are cashed up" - I explained that I had just witnessed the member of staff approach the till from outside of the store with me so therefore as I watch they are not "Cashed Up" and that I'm there at 8pm with the doors open - "its past 8pm" he replies" - I show him my phone as it actually went from 8:01pm to 8:02pm - "Either way its past 8 so I don't really care". I told him he's a disgrace to Customer Service and he continued to be smug, I couldn't of been any more polite. My Truck takes 2 Batteries, nearly £200, which I estimate to pay 2 persons wages and surely you are in business to take money, especially easy money. However I went home, removed my Batteries to Test & Charge only to find that having paid Halfords 7 days ago to replace my Lightbulbs, Shoddy service obviously runs through your floor staff as the Gentleman concerned hadn't bothered to tighten the Battery connection leads properly, they were finger loose. So not only does my wife break down due to shoddy service, I can't even get service to rectify an issue I shouldn't have had in the first place. The only plus is that I have saved myself money that Halfords doesn't deserve and will never get again in the future. I worked in retail for over 10 years, simply I would have been sacked or severely reprimanded if I treated a customer with such distain.

    Very poor, roof rack feel of on trip to Wales, don't use there fitting services.
