  If anyone us wondering what is meant by the British productivity gap than you could do no worse than popping into this branch and observe what goes on there. I queued for 20 minutes today to pay some bills with cash. One struggling trainee on the till and 5 of her lazy colleagues standing in the foyer chatting. One of the lazy bunch kept coming up and apologizing for the delay. Utterly rubbish customer service!
