::Lovely place. We ate in a romantic room into a cave. The food was good. Waitress was helpful and careful. The steak and bacon pie price is about 13£.

::Food was really good. Very good choice of beers. Not sure if wás understaffed but an order for coffee at the bar took 25 minutes. All staff ought to learn to smile. It would be nice to feel welcome. But again I say the food was very good.
Matthew McVeagh
::A lovely pub situated on the Canning Circus section of Derby Road, and set back into the sandstone that has afforded Nottingham so many artificial caves. The back room is raw rock decorated with candles, a popular section for dining. The pub always has 7 or 8 real ales on; the open area in the main bar is sometimes used for live music; and there is even a deli behind the bar area to compliment the already impressive cooked food menu. A must for anyone trying out Nottingham's better pubs.

::Built into the Sandstone caves, this place has a great atmosphere. The meat pie was delicious, as were the fish and chips. That said, the staff could have been a little more attentive, and friendlier.

::I always bring my out-of-town guests here to enjoy the local ales and great food. Fish and chips at a cave-side table is a perfect way to show off the local Nottingham culture. Thursday evening is live music night.... always worth stopping in to see what's on.
