::Better than previous visit. Visited this place before by our latest visit was different. Food taste and quality was absolutely better than our last visit. Well priced with friendly service as well.

::It's much quieter than derby so generally easier to get a table. Sadly they don't do olives unlike derby! Also no raisins the last few times I have been. Food generally good, has been slow the last time we went as it was a new chef but was presentable. A little over crispy on the chicken and ribs though!

::Great place to go for a casual meal with the family. Clean, convenient location and staff are excellent. Shame they don't do breakfast anymore 😔

::I went with my family during quite a busy time and the salad bar was quite sad looking as a result. The main food arrived in good time and was of a good quality. I encountered my first baby food heating hurdle here. I usually take a small Tupperware box with some food in and staff in other restaurants have been happy to take it to the kitchen to heat for me. Not so here. They will only take a glass jar, apparently. However, my server did provide an alternative. He brought a huge serving dish (like they serve the salads in at the bar) of hot water and put it on a different table (H&S reasons) and I eventually got the food to a good temperature.

::Food was good; tasty and not over-cooked. Salad bar excellent as per usual. We were served by 2 different waitresses. One (the more senior from her badge) was disinterested and listless - not welcoming at all. Not bad enough to complain about but easily enough to lose a star from above (if not 2!) The other young lady was as different again. Warm, friendly and helpful. It is because of her efforts that only 1 star went.
