  Food was excellent - great value, good portions and super tasty. Staff were lovely. Service was a bit random but we were a very large group (30+) and to an extent that's expected... Random or not, staff were great!

  Clean, tidy, by one get one free meals, all ways good service, friendly, kids love play area ( which is better for bigger Kids than little ones really) very relaxed atmosphere

  Terrible. Went after 6pm for Sunday dinner. Cold inside and staff same. Not full so why such a long wait for dinner? Not worth the wait! Beef thick but dry as boot leather. Mash dry and not fresh. Gravy thick and lumpy. Left dinner. Get your act together hoe

  Food good but cold. Service slow & seemed untrained (had to ask for steak knives, sauces etc) & no one checked if everything ok until they wanted to clear table (still people eating). Used to be table service but now have to go to bar to order. Not as good as it used to be & will give it a while before going back in hope it improves. Shame.

  Very old. Bad smell of sewage in the bar. The rooms/windows have no insulation so you've kept awake all night with traffic and wind rattling the windows. The bed clothes looked faded, I'm hoping they were clean. Breakfast wasn't great. They presented warm water in a jug that we were supposed to make tea with but it was like warm. It was not worth £98 a night. It would be worth £30 at best, and I'm being generous.
