  I had an ear infection overnight Friday. Knowing it would get worse unless I got an antibiotic, I looked up Hedena Health on the internet, and found that my health centre, Bury Knowles, was open from 8.15am. I phoned continually to make an appointment but for 45 minutes got the answer that they were closed. But the internet said they were open. So I got on my bike and went to Bury Knowles. The receptionist told me that they are only open for blood tests, there is no doctor there. She suggested I phone 111, which I did, and now have an appointment at Manzel Way. It would have helped if the Hedena website had said that Bury Knowles is only open for blood tests and there is no doctor there.

  Web page says opens at 7.30. It shut. Can't see a proper doc without hassle. Due to incompetence suffered over 2 months unnecessarily. Hate it.

  My doctor is lovely and caring, but the real problem is a. getting to speak to a p.e.r.s.o.n. on the phone, who b. will ask you to solve a zen riddle of questions before being persuaded that you need a doctor and c. will find you an appointment before the end of the year. Phone froze on my hand after ringing into the vacuum for ages, nobody was there within the standard opening times, and the online booking system is a disgrace (passwords do not work, no appointments shown for my doctor, etc.). Sometimes I feel just dying would be less hassle and faster results.

  One star for actually getting an appointment and one star for the GP who was lovely however I had booked an appointment for something specific that was discussed at length on the phone with the receptionist. When I got seen the procedure could not be done as I just got a regular appointment instead of the one I had asked for!! So that was a waste of a trip!
