  Didn’t even stay, appalled by the service. Offered free cancellation only for them to try and bill me £210 for the room 6 weeks in advance when I tried to cancel two weeks after booking. Tried to pass the blame on a third party when they requested funds. Only for them to tell me later on in the phone call that they requested the funds themselves.

  We stayed 1 night and it was excellent location for the Arena Birmingham. It didn't bother us as we only stayed 1 night but rooms are advertised as having a mini fridge but it didn't, sure reception would have sorted it out if we had of asked though. Nearby Q Parking ticket was validated by reception but did nothing was still full price, website quotes it makes it the same as their own at £15.40 and receptionist said 10% off but it was neither. Dropped a star off for that. As we were hungry from traveling we stopped in at the restaurant/bar downstairs for a late lunch. The food was great but even better was Albi, he is a real credit to the hotel! He was pleasant, friendly and generally made our lunch very enjoyable. Absolutely lovely and full of character, thank you to him! Overall it was a nice hotel, well located, Albi was amazing and if your going to attend something at The Arena or the Sealife Centre its a no brainer for ease of location, would stay again! Thanks

  The afternoon tea experience was excellent, the tea room is modern and welcoming. Without a doubt what made it a success was the friendly staff who could not do enough for you. In particular 'Albi' the male host in charge of the Tea Room. his enthusiasm and constant attention to his customers provides this hotel with a top class ambassador . My wife and I have dinned at the Ritz in London and have not witnessed such attention as displayed by 'Albi' He is a credit to his profession . Many thanks for making it a memorable afternoon.

  Very nice hotel with decorative interior and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are quite quiet in the evening for sleeping. It was however very hot as the air conditioning didn't do much.

  Stayed for one night. Chosen because of its easy reach to the Arena Birmingham. ... Five minutes walk away. Room was clean and we'll equipped. Staff were really friendly and helpful and found the time to offer guidance where needed. Enjoyed the attention to detail, phone sockets near tables in the dining room, personal bedside lighting, complimentary drinks and snacks in the reception area, newspapers and comfortable seating to fit all shapes and sizes. Would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel and am planning a return visit ourselves.
