  Lovely food but they are not keen on children. A few notices saying children must be quiet and not run around. Have heard them telling children off a few times!

  Very popular lunch venue with older generation, who appreciate good food and value for money. Friendly staff, excellent menu and the portions are large. Well worth a visit.

  I love Hogs Head Hotel, visit every Sunday for the delicious carvery & sometimes during the week to sample the vast menu. Try the Hogs hot chocolate fudge cake & cream, you won't be disappointed! It's a great place, the staff are very friendly & very welcoming.

  Great stop-over for travellers heading along M1. Big portions of tasty good value food. Room was compact with small bathroom but had all required services and was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet over night. Great breakfast choice. Pleasant staff. All-in-all excellent value.

  A brilliant place to stay, really easy to get into Nottingham. Annette & Andrew as well as John are excellent hosts. Their staff are polite, friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit and how to get there!! The breakfast and dinners cannot be faulted. We have stayed in some 5* hotels in England and around the world and this pub/hotel could teach them a few things. We have been coming here a couple of times of year to visit family for few years now and after trying some other places we now wouldn't go anywhere else. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!!!
