::Booked for one night for a family trip to Cambridge and then Duxford. Room wasn't ready when arrived at ten to 2pm and was given free drink vouchers (Great). Our room was eventually ready at 2:45. A large family room on the ground floor. We swam in the pool that seemed a little over dosed with chemical's. We enjoyed a very nice meal in the junction restaurant, the food was excellent. Then came the worst nights sleep ever had in any hotel ever. None of us slept for more than a couple for hours. The beds are hard, very hard and the bed linen is horrible. We think the duvet is made from loft insulation. Anyway probably the last time we will stay in a Holiday Inn, in future sticking to Marriott for this kind of trip.

::The place is average. The best thing about this is the breakfast. They serve almost everything. The dinners are also good. The one issue is the bed sheets had some dry paint and some food stains. I could deal with it but it wasn't to pleasant. The first thing I saw when I went in was a man who greeted us very nicely and gave our card to the room. The only caution is if your getting a room for many people be aware the beds can only fit just 4 people. Thank you

::We usually choose hotels on the outskirts of city’s when we’re midway traveling as it’s easier to get back on the road, nothing fancy just a good bed. Well what a pleasant surprise. Huge place, with what looks like an amazing health club also (we didn’t use it as we arrived late with a baby). I had booked a standard room which only had two single beds, no good for us as we co sleep. The lady on the seat was so friendly and helpful she managed to find us an executive room with a large double and we just paid the extra on top; which was barely anything! And she gave us some free drinks tokes for the bar also, clearly we looked as though we needed it! Ordered room service as we were all too smashed to go to the restaurant, and it was excellent. Didn’t have to wait too long, I could get the baby changed and settled and the food was very tasty also. Nice big room with a lovely bath room, our stay was so good I wish we had had a bit more time there. Nice and quiet but super close to the main road. Book marked and will use again!!

::Wonderful stop at the Holiday Inn. They were able to upgrade our room at minimal cost, and also arranged for our luggage to be carried up to our room. We received our morning wake-up call and then Newspapers exactly on time. Breakfast was excellent and we were able to consume as much as we wanted in the buffet area. There is enough parking on-site to cater for all guests and it was easy to get back onto the motorway, as we left for Peterborough that morning. Will definitely stay again, when I am next again in Cambridge.
