  I am paraplegic and live at home with my wife. I have been receiving care from Home Instead York for more than three years. I have always found them to be professional, competent, caring and friendly. They have taken care in selecting my carers to match my needs and personality and have gone to great efforts to provide additional carers at short notice when my wife needed to be away. I am extremely satisfied with the service I receive both from the carers and the management team. I would recommend Home Instead York to anyone who should find themselves in need of some personal care in the home.

  Home Instead is by far the best company I have ever worked for! Our Caregivers and office staff feel more like extended family than colleagues, we support each other and I can rely on them for help and advice when needed. My clients really do make my job special, unlike other jobs I've had in the past I really look forward to going to see my ladies and gents! I love the company values and think its great that I see regular clients, I see them all each week at regular times which sets a great routine, and I love that I can spend quality time with my clients and build friendships. In the 3 and a half years I've worked for Home Instead I have felt appreciated, I love our ongoing training and chances to do other training courses/personal development opportunities, our office staff have helped me progress to be the best Caregiver that I can strive to be and I couldn't be happier in my job! I would recommend Home Instead to any prospective clients or new Caregivers, we're a great team!

  I was first introduced to HomeInstead when we were looking for care for some elderly relatives. We looked at various companies offering private care, and selected HomeInstead because they offered the most practical and flexible service. A wonderful team of carers visited our relatives regularly and reliably, and provided a range of services tailored to their needs. Nothing was too much trouble! As they became more infirm, the service adapted. We were kept informed of any issues that arose, which was very reassuring. I was so impressed by the service HomeInstead offered our relatives, that I applied to work for them. I had very little previous experience of caring for older adults, but this was no barrier since the training and induction package they offer is comprehensive and very supportive. I have been with the company for seven months now. I love my job, and feel extremely proud to work for a company with such a caring and client-centred ethos. I work hours that suit me, in locations close to home, and have the satisfaction of knowing that I am making a difference not just to a client but to their whole family.

  Home Instead Senior Care provided support to my Dad. From consultation to care the service was efficient and professional. They are leading the way in support at home for individuals in the York and Ryedale area.
