  We employed the individual behind Home Tech Improvement through Rated People to repaint the exterior of our house, replace facia and guttering and to repaint a wooden door. They lied to us about progress, stole money from us, didn't supply the facia and guttering that we paid them for, used the wrong colour and brand of paint, applied the paint in the wrong way (air spray where they should have brushed it on), left paint sprayed on the double-glazed windows and upvc window frames, and disappeared and didn't return. We then discovered that they used false identities and addresses to register on Rated People and that they had ripped many other people off as well. We along with many other people have a CCJ against them with the total value of the CCJs totaling over £12000. Wiltshire Police and Wiltshire Trading Standards have a file on them.
