  My husband and I recently stayed here, having stayed at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. The location is excellent - you're within a 10 minute walk of most places and Cambridge itself is lovely. We also found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. However, for the rate that we paid (we went for one of the Suites) we found the room to be very disappointing and not at all like the pictures advertised on the website. It was small and dim and one of the windows overlooked a rather unsightly part of the roof. We also paid for breakfast the following morning but, unlike the hotel in Tunbridge Wells, they offered no Vegetarian breakfast just vegetarian options that weren't overly appealing - quite incredible in this day and age, and if you wanted toast you were treated to your own little pots of jam on the table, as standard in hotels of this kind, but anything else, including marmite, were in large communal pots that you had to go up and use - all a bit odd. In conclusion, we would definitely revisit Cambridge but would look to stay somewhere else.

  Truly enjoyed our stay at this refurbished industrial age set of buildings combined into a hotel. Nice backyard space, though mostly for smoking including a cigar den. Bistro is good and a basement bar with lots of nooks to settle into. Room was large, clean and comfortable.

  Great place - cozy, authentic, romantic and quiet. Although in the night there is an inner cortyard, which can get too noisy and the smoke from the people smoking can get into the rooms on the first floor. Very friendly staff, great breakfast bistro - see the pics of my favorite avocado toast & poached eggs

  We tried their lunch set menu on Saturday, it was an awful experience. we had dinner there 2 years ago, it was not too bad. but this time its just wrong all over the place. To start with, the water they served us, there was hair in it, and the glass was not clean, you could still see the finger print on it. secondly, it was not busy at lunch time, but we waited for so long around 30 minutes just for the starters. The main point is the food are disastrous! It is very small portion for the main and it is not even warm! Very disappointed! We now moved to cambridge from London, thought we will try their Sunday lunch menu next time, but we will not going to that place again am afraid. i wished i took some photos to show. well... never again.

  An amazing place. The room Toques at the back of the hotel very quiet. The staff are helpful and friendly but not obtrusive. Had room service and the food was delicious. Would stay here age. Thank you to everyone for a very comfortable stay. Will return
