  Quite pleased with the stay, parking in the back (free for hotel residents), close to the town centre was quiet and clean. Ask for the guacamole at breakfast, it is rather nice.

  I have stayed at a number of IBIS hotels in continental Europe over the years, but I have to say this one in Carlisle is particularly exceptional and we'll run. Everyone is so friendly, the hotel has been modernised, much nicer than a Premier Inn, and a lot better than a Travel Lodge. Clean rooms, brilliant staff and breakfast.

  Good Ibis hotel situated in middle of town. Did not have a booking but was able to get a twin for the night. Would use this hotel again. Breakfast was excellent, with the full works available.

  Excellent budget hotel. Absolutely ideal location in Carlisle - 2 minute walk from the train station. Staff were very very friendly - check in was prompt using a phone. Room very clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

  Nice rooms. Lovely staff. Lovely food. No complaints at all. Will stay more often
