::Breakfast was good. Room was the size of a static caravan with a bathroom to match. Room was too hot and if you had the window open all you could hear where the students until the early hours. Parking was £7

::First time travelling with my dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. It’s clean and friendly. The room was compact but adequate. Location was great, 5 mins to ferry port and a 10 minute walk to the sea front. Food was also very nice and also plentiful!!! Alround great experience thanks to all the staff there😁

::The only good thing about this hotel is the staff. They were very friendly and polite, even when we asked for a refund and left. We were looking for a nice hotel to stay in and for £77 I thought my mum and I would get something decent. The restaurant is big and spacious but the rooms are TINY, with an even smaller bathroom with no bath. The TV was rubbish, with NO movies on demand which the website stated. The website is very misleading, rooms are not sound proof and parking is not free. There were hairs in the bed, shower and dirty marks on all our towels. The stairwells are cold and reminded me of a dirty car park stairwell. We felt uncomfortable and chlostraphobic in this room and hotel, after 10 minutes we decided to leave and were given a refund quickly, after being told this particular ibis is a lot smaller and is lacking compared to others. Why is this not stated on the website?? We ended up going to a premier inn for £62 with free parking, very large room and bathroom, couldn’t have been better.

::Check in was fast and easy. Great access to the Guildhall. Staff were friendly and room was great. Would highly recommend. Ibis in general are always fab hotels to stay in.

::One of the very few hotels in the city that allows pet dogs and cats. Very efficient check in/out, Friendly staff. Had to pay to park car but cheaper than parking overnight in any of the nearby car parks. Nice decor in reception, restaurant and rooms and the full English breakfast was so good I wanted to go up for seconds. Ideal base for touring HMS Victory, Mary Rose etc all close by. We would certainly stay here again and bring the dog of course.
