  Room addiquate restaurant average location leaves a bit to be desired. Cost good.

  TRADESMEN THIEVES OPERATE IN AND AROUND THIS HOTEL. CCTV IS POOR AND WONT PICK UP THE THEFT. DO NOT RISK STAYING HERE IF YOU HAVE VALUABLE TOOLS IN YOUR VAN.

  Nice clean room, slightly dated, decent shower over bath, 32" TV, kettle. Only downside was they need updated. Especially the heating as only electric heater that isn't powerful enough and the. windows, which are quite drafty and terrible at noise reduction of motorway.

  Very strange. Would not want to stay there again, except perhaps in summer time. Walking through dingy archway with bins and enormous rain puddle to get to our room ( right round the far end - presumably because we had a dog with us) was very offputting. Room heater worked fine but took ages for room to warm up - stone cold when we arrived which was horrible. Alarmingly steep driveway. Plus points - friendly staff and the food was reasonably good (we had an evening meal as well as breakfast the next morning) - full english breakfast was freshly cooked rather than a buffet, which was great.
