  A good branch - staff come up quickly to check what you need and avoid you wasting time in line. Specialists are in hand, and though the waits are sometimes extended, you keep your place in the queue and do not get bumped off. Overall, very good modern banking.

  Absolutely terrible. Worst bank I have ever experienced. Lied to me 3 times that they weren't charging me fees when receiving international deposits into my account. Cannot even request an account statement be printed at the bank with your address on it. Have to carry a security calculator device everywhere with me just to transfer small amounts of money and log into online banking. International transactions can take up to 6 working days and if transferred on a weekend don't even show on your account as apparently no one works in that department on the weekend. I would call this STONE AGE BANKING.

  I think HSBC St.Albans has got the best efficient and friendly service in town. Every single time I arrive there, there is some nice lady says "Hi!" with a big smile. Especially front lady called Fran is always always nice, happy, helpful and friendly. I am very glad to deal with them.Big WELL DONE and please keep up the good work! Regards
