We went in with my partner to look around for Christmas gift ideas, has been looking at several books and magazines for about ten minutes. The owner was very pushy trying to sell us something, so we told him we are just browsing. My partner sat down with one of the books she was interested in buying and wanted to see if the content was as good as the outlook of it, so she started reading the intro, when the owner came up to us and said "I hope you're not treating my shop as a library." We said "no, of course not." He replied "Would you like some help putting that book back on the shelf then?" So we left.. He had beautiful things in the shop and we were absolutely considering buying some things, but he made sure we would never. Worst service I have ever experienced.

Unfortunately an extremely pushy owner, which put me off completely. Rude, arrogant and makes you feel uneasy in the shop. Sad to see bad customer service when he has a good collection of books.

Lovely magazines, extremely rude owner. He was arrogant and demeaned customers. Would've loved to buy several of the magazines we saw if he hadn't openly accused us of 'single-handedly supporting child labor' by the Primark shopping bag in our hand and 'killing the recycling efforts of thousands' with the plane ticket we used to get to this country. His 'advice' on how people interested in his shop should live their life was unsolicited and definitely not appreciated. Also, if your phone is out at all, for any reason, you will be publicly shamed. Would have loved to walk in to this shop and been able to explore and admire the beautiful products and ideas presented within it, however, this shop owner seemed more keen to quickly convict potential customers rather than invite them in and show them the collection that he has passionately built.
