  I went with Interrent because it came up the cheapest out of car hire options at Glasgow airport. But have learned that cheaper is not better! The office is nowhere near Glasgow airport and on asking at Europcar in the main car hire office, they sent us in a completely the wrong direction. With a screaming 2 year old and suitcases, this wasn't enjoyable. Once we'd eventually found Interrent and did the paperwork we were told we could be slapped with a cleaning fee. This was incredibly surprising 1. Because there was no mention of this on any of their paperwork when booking and 2. Isn't it normal that they include cleaning?! I decided to brave it and hoovered the inside of the car on the final day of our trip but low and behold on returning the car, was told I had to pay because the OUTSIDE was dirty. Ridiculous policy and ended up costing me the same as going with a bigger car hire company but with more hassle. Can't fault the staff though, who at the Glasgow branch, were friendly and apologetic. Overall, rubbish policy and won't be using again.
