  My fiancé and I went to stay with Alice and John at Inveresk House in November. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we set foot in the property. Alice and John gave us plenty of tips and ideas of where to visit and told us the stories of the history of the house and the area. We couldn’t recommend anywhere better to stay, and if that wasn’t enough of an incentive to stay, the breakfast is second to none! 👍🏼

  We just returned for the third time to stay with Alice and Johnny who are the most gracious hosts you will find, full of local and national knowledge. We love staying there, they make us feel like family. Recommend highly. Daryl and Sue USA

  What an amazing place. Found this B&B by accident and we immediately felt in love with it. A very nice hosting couple and of course an amazingly designed and well-furnished house. You'll feel in a total different world, like a hundred years ago. Very delicious breakfast and a nice neighborhood. Although it's far away from the Edinburgh town center, this place is totally worth your stay in Scotland. Definitely will come back one day! Thank you so much, Alice.
