  I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to write one about Steve and the great experience i had IQ Plumbers. We had an issue with very slow drainage – will booked a first plumber (based locally in N London) who charged us full whack for a callout. He used a prod (no machinery) which actually made the blockage much worse, pushing the blockage further into the pipe. At this point the sink had now fully blocked up and was no longer flowing at all. The first plumber told us that the problem was so severe that he wasn’t able to do anything without breaking down the interior walls to gain access the and to the main pipes. He was quoting in the hundreds/ thousands. We were charged £100 for the benefit (for essentially nothing). We didn’t proceed because he entirely trustworthy but as non professionals we could not be sure. Needless to say the experience was very bad. I was searching for a second opinion including Pimlico plumbers who were charging a whopping £200 including VAT for a weekend call out by the hour. Other were charging around the £160 mark for a weekend call out. I then stumbled across Steve after seeing some positive reviews about his company on Google. I called him in the very early hours of the morning (sorry!) waking him up from sleep, despite this he was still more than helpful. He came the next morning, on time and worked his magic. He assessed the situation and used the least corrosive method to resolve the problem. He dealt with it speedily and did not have to resort to breaking down the interior walls as the previous plumber had suggested. It took him 2.40 hours to complete the job but only charged us for 2 hours. He explained step by step what he was doing and had all the appropriate machinery and gear (which the first one didn’t). He even spent the last 10 minutes cleaning up for us and checking/ fixing loose connections free of charge after he had packed up all of his gear. I would definitely recommend Steve if you are looking for a good, honest, reliable plumber with very reasonable prices. He did everything thoroughly, and the drainage has been better than it ever has been. Thanks Steve!! If you’re unsure then let this review fill you with confidence. Would definitely use in the future and is highly recommended.

  Extremely helpful service despite us calling at 11.30pm while he was on another job. He was able to talk us through a step by step solution to our problem over the phone and offered to follow up again once his current job was finished. Very helpful

  Best service ever!! I had broken a tap that would not stop running. As opposed to charging me an emergency call out fee to come out and stop the water (it was 8pm Friday night) they guided me on how to do it over the phone with no charge! Of course once I had ordered the new tap and it was ready for installation I called IQ Plumbing and a beautiful job was done for a good price. Prices were much cheaper than other emergency plumbers in this area. Just perfect, will definitely be using services again.

  Called the guy at 6pm on a Friday that I need emergency help. He was there at 8pm. On a Friday!!! Excellent quality work, reasonably charged. Number is saved, highly recommended trader! Thank you!
