::Brilliant traditional pub. Great ales and atmosphere

::Avoid this place if you’re disabled. I wobble on my feet due to the effects of past brain cancer treatment and they refused to serve me, assuming I was very drunk! Apparently I’m not the first person to have experienced this. Woe betide those entering the threshold with cerebral palsy or the like! Shame as it was a nice venue for music a few years ago. Apparently the current landlord is not so nice..

::Met up here for the start of a mini reunion. Loved the music, 90's grunge & indie rock. It was like we never left!
Dan Squire
::Great comedy open mic every Thursday night from 8pm. Also good, cheap pints for Oxford. Highly recommended!
Paul Green
::Excellent amateur open mic comedy event on Thursdays. Pub itself is very tied and has seen better days but warm welcome nonthless.
