    Recently bought a new Renault Captur 1.9. from John Banks! Great car! The staff are really wonderful. Manny is a gem, he's just so patient. I do recommend them :)

    One of the best buying experiences I have ever had. I found a Renault Megane that I liked the look of on Autotrader. I contacted John Banks Cambridge and spoke to a salesman called Manny. As I live in Yorkshire I wanted to provisionally agree on a deal over the phone thus avoiding a long drive down to Cambridge if a deal wasn't possible. Manny took the details of my part exchange and said he'd contact me later that day which he promptly did. He offered me a fair price for my car against the car I was interested in. He answered my questions (lots of them) and responded to sent emails very quickly. Once I was happy to proceed I paid a £250 deposit (fully refundable should I decide I didn't want to proceed once I'd viewed the car) and Manny took the car off sale. He also sent me a link to a personalised video of the Megane which was a nice touch. 1 week later I travelled down to Cambridge to meet Manny and view the car. I was very happy with it and Manny had a quick look over my part exchange and we did the deal. The Megane had around 5 months to go until its first MOT but Manny had kindly agreed to MOT the car prior to my visit and provided me with a 12 month MOT certificate on arrival. He printed out the HPI report on the Megane which was obviously all clear. I asked via email if the car had enough diesel in it to get me home and Manny assured me he would check and if not he would make sure it did. Another nice touch. I found this dearlership, and Manny in particular, a joy to do business with. I don't particularly enjoy driving and this is the furthest I have driven to purchase a car but I would not hesitate to purchase from these again. Manny especially, was extremely professional and courteous.

    John Banks Renault and Dacia dealership in Cambridge provide a great Customer Satisfaction experience and recently their Sales Manager and Service Manager have been outstanding. Many thanks to them both for providing a great service yesterday when I brought my 1 year old top of the range Dacia Duster in for the first annual service. Your leadership and customer relations were first rate. However, it has to be noted that the female service receptionist (name known but I won't prejudice this review by revealing as I am just too much of a gentleman to do so), at the new Service Centre in Mercer's Row was the most rude, aggressive and offensive individual I have ever come across in a Customer Facing role. The treatment and attitude afforded to me, which was totally unnecessary and inappropriate was nothing short of shocking. It is a good job that she is shortly to leave your employ as a repeat customer experience of this nature could easily mean reduced sales and customer base to your Group. I was sorely tempted to just hand over my vehicle and cancel any arrangements and take my custom elsewhere because of the reception and treatment experienced yesterday morning, which was totally unacceptable and was so unprofessional it is hard to describe. I thank all the engineers, mechanics, sales staff and managers at JB's for dealing with this unsavoury situation in an agreeable manner and for stepping up to the plate to provide a level of service I would always expect. PS - I am so happy with my Duster it is the only reason I accept that this experience is down to an individual and not down to the policy of Customer Satisfaction at JB.

    absolute shambles, terrible customer service and once they got the deposite for a car have no time for you take so long to do everything always have to call them, dont stick to dates. terrible wish i went somewhere else!!

    Horrific experience. Amazing car. No customer service after signing the papers. Odd how I gave left a detailed account and it's now not showing. Buy Dacia but not from them they don't return Calls or emails. Even when Dacia head office stepped in still no apology. Shocking
