  The wonderful team at John D. Wood made our idyllic home in Oxford possible! From the first moment, they were responsive and observant of every last detail. While we were house hunting from the US, Jackie gave us Skype tours of the house, answered every question, helped us through all the details of letting, and advocated for us as tenants. Throughout our year, Carol looked after us and responded immediately to every question or issue we had. They made us feel valued and cared for at every turn. We are enormously grateful for their time and support, and couldn't be more thankful for the beautiful Oxford home they made possible. Thank you, John D. Wood!!!

  I have recently re-located with my family to the Oxford area from North Yorkshire for work and personal reasons. I decided to rent for a year to get to know the area before committing to purchasing a house. I contacted John D Wood & Co in Oxford about renting a property and they couldn't have been more helpful. From the initial point of contact through to the signature of the contract and handing over the keys they couldn't have done any more to help. I would like to personally mention and thank Jacqueline Smith (for overseeing the entire process and listening to my needs at every juncture), Celia Francis (for conducting a thorough viewing of the property and also dealing with many questions that I had - including outside what's deemed normal office hours) and Janine Riddell (for efficiently dealing with all the relevant paperwork and referencing). The team a John D Wood & Co in Oxford worked incredibly hard to arrange my tenancy and took away some of the stress that can be associated with moving house. I thank you all individually and collectively.

  We are using John D Wood to rent our 4-bed property in Chilton. We initially dealt with John d Wood as were were tenants ourselves. We purchased our own property and due to us relocating internationally, we had to rent our house out. We had not even considered anyone else to manage our rental. We had repeated excellent service from Jackie, ​Ceilia and Janine. The process of facilitating a clean and stress-free exit for our departing tenants, was efficient and very professional. It is especially important as we live abroad and want to ensure our property is well taken care of and left in good order, for the next tenants. Jackie and the team and John D Wood also did an excellent job at finding us new tenants and the property was occupied with two weeks. Their excellent service, especially their frequent communication and keeping us up to date with the marketing plan and progress, was of great help.

  We have changed agents to John D Wood very recently as our flat did not seem to be attracting any tenants who were seriously interested in our flat. Celia Francis understood our anxiety and was very reassuring that they would find a tenants for us. Within 10 days new tenants have been secured and we are so pleased; and from the feedback so are our new tenants. Its about connecting with people and listening.
