  Refreshing to find a company that answers calls first time professional, polite and helpful. The plumber arrived in the given time frame he was personable whilst focussed and fixed the problem on the spot. A great service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

  I had a positive experience as they fixed a fairly unusual fault with minimum fuss. The plumber they sent was polite, punctual and I was very happy with his work. I would certainly recommend them if you are looking for a plumber in York.

  I have student properties in York and use Knowles for all the plumbing and gas work. They always turn up when they say, they always fix it and they're not expensive. What more do you want?

  Did some work for us,flooded our living room and bedroom,had to get new laminate flooring, re paint all living room ceiling 3 times,re wallpaper landing wall and also caused damage to the electrics in our airing cupboard due to the flooding so we had no heating or hot water for nearly a week and a half with 2 kids under the age of 10,Knowles totally denied it was there fault would not sort out any of the damage they had caused till we paid so I refused to pay after all the damage they had caused and now there taken me to court cowboys and rip off merchants,I will make sure everybody knows what company they really are.

  This was the worst experience I have ever had with a tradesman. It has really put me off using local tradesmen going forward which is really sad. The service was terrible, they ordered a part and we had to keep chasing them to come round then the fitted a much, much more expensive part without our knowledge and then left me with a still broken boiler and a ridiculously high bill. Do not use them.
