::What an amazing experience. I have always dreaded going to the hairdressers. From terrifying experiences as a child to paying top quality hairdressers I have never found 'the hairdressers' for me until now. Had an absolutely amazing experience today with a level 4 hairdresser called Sam, she is soo lovely and understood exactly what I was after. It's more expensive than the usual which is completely justified with the level of skill and experience Sam has. I have left kudos today never absolutely beaming with happiness and never again will I dread going to the hair dressers. Thank you so very much! X

::Cutting skills aplenty...very talented first rate stylists. Shop is cramped though and detracts from a true salon experience. Also needs higher end products to bring the shop into the same league as its stylists

::I am writing in regards to the truly terrible customer service that I experienced on the phone this morning. After a previous hair consultation with Samantha one week ago, I arranged a wash and blow dry with her for today at 11am, as I have a University ball to attend this evening. However, on receiving a voicemail this very morning - 2 hours prior to the arranged appointment, that Samantha was suddenly unavailable to do the job, I phoned the store immediately to arrange a blow-dry with another member of staff (Which I was perfectly happy to do). The young male on the phone showed no sympathy or remorse whatsoever. He did not offer to see if another member of staff was available for the simple blow-dry, until I asked him to. He only offered that I could rearrange for another day, despite me explaining to him that this would be useless as the only reason I booked an appointment for a blow dry today was because I had a very important event to attend later this evening. I am astounded at the short notice I was given about my cancellation and the atrocious customer service I received. I was relying on your company today and it has ruined my day. Kudos of York has lost a valuable customer, and I should be advising all of my family and friends not to visit your store.

::I have always struggled to find a hairdressers where I come out feeling happy with my haircut. But today when I had my haircut by Vanessa at Kudos, I came out feeling like a million dollars! I was so well looked after, Vanessa gave it a thorough wash, used lots of products and explained what everything was for, she spent a lot of time cutting and styling it, always checking that I was happy with it and listening to what I had asked for, but also offering really good expert advice. The whole team were very friendly, the salon was presented to a high standard and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going again soon. A haircut used to be something I dreaded, but not anymore! :) I may even pop in just for blow drys in between if I can't recreate the look at home. Overall fab experience, so glad to have found a great salon and an even better stylist!
