Brilliant meal, great staff. We got the pre-concert menu which was 18.95 for 2 courses which is more than fair enough and a couple of cocktails which were around £6 each and again more than fair enough. I've walked past it for years on the way to the SECC/Hydro but only just went in yesterday but that will be my place before each concert/boxing/comedian or whatever, from now on.

Tables are horrendously and uncomfortably too close together. I could easily touch the next tables from my seat. Pasta had wayyyy too much garlic in rendering it uneatable. Handy for the hydro but that's it.

To be clear, this review of for La Rotunda ( the Italian ) the is a separate restaurant called Yen upstairs, there seems to be reviews for both places here. Went here as we were going for a concert at the Hydro. Super easy to get your parking validated in the restaurant and don't have to punch any codes in when leaving, just drive out! If the car park is getting full it can be hard to navigate as people just park anywhere and everywhere. The food was good, not awesome but not bad, and we didn't have to wait very long for it. Staff were attentive and it didn't feel like we were being rushed or anything but it wasn't mega busy when we went. Pre-concert menu was only thing on when we went but that was as described on the website. For two of us it cost just under £50 for the 2 course set menu, a cocktail and lemonade. Expensive but probably on par for the area. Wouldn't hesitate to return if going to a concert, even if it was just for the parking!
