I ordered palak paneer and aalu gobhi, but the food was so oily. I have never had so oily indian food in UK. They should take care of food quality and calorie level.

Quality can be variable but generally it's a good place - and much better value than neighbouring places.

Pleasant staff, tasty food served in a timely manner, no background music (hooray) - just happy chatter.

Hmm well the food is good but about service cant tell bcoz v asked dem to pack it for a take a way. On 13th feb we had non veg food incl lamb biryani which was a fab. But on 14th feb being valentines day and also ash wednesday the same day itself decided to go on veg incl. Couple of gravys and again another take away. I was quite surprised to see our order was packed in a box of cobra beer box instead of bags. May be the restaurateur was trying to save on some bags buh at the same time why would i carry the box all the way to my hotel room? I asked my fiance if this was done with every other customer who happen to order gravys as well. When asked the restaurateur said that the box in which the gravy was got might get soaked in to the other for which reason they did so. I completely understand may be it was done in that intention, but it didn't really look appropriate for that matter. If it was a big order i can understand but this was just around 5 items incl 2 gravys. And we are 2 ppl to carry it. It wasnt much. Our hotel was just 300 mts away. This was one unexpected experience i had with the restaurant.
