  I've now done 4 trips on the river wye. This hire was a disgrace. All other canoe hire companies we used were professional and delivered. This place/guy let us down with timings, gear, agreed prices, couldn't even arrange pick up from our hotel. We had to cart our gear across town 15mins away for some random taxi bus to pick us up (which then drove past our hotel towards drop off). One word disorganised! He even forgot one of the kayaks we booked, and didn't have enough barrels for the trip. My friend slept in a wet sleeping bag for 3 nights. Use a different canoe hire place, plenty available.

  Super time on the river. We had a large group of children with us and Rob and his team looked after us very well.

  Had a great time. The guys at left bank canoe hire were really accommodating and gave us some great local info. The boats were really nice, traditional looking canoes. Will be back later in the year.
