  I lived in the area for more than 5 years with a nice park in front of my flat. Lovely for summer days. Very close to Holborn station.

  Nothing fancy, surrounded by law buildings, and other older buildings. The Old Curiosity Shop is just round the corner!

  Lovely garden in the midst of lawyers offices and the London School of Economics. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy a takeaway lunch - it's especially lovely in the afternoon sunshine under tall London Plane trees. Added bonus is a well-maintained cottage (public toilet) on the east side near Great Turnstile. It features automatic soap / water / dry sinks that are always stocked and in working order. Because of this, it's popular with cabbies, but in no way overcrowded or unsanitary.

  Lovely park area with restaurant, tennis and netball courts. Good seating but lunch times makes seating limited. Public toilet situated outside park. A shame some owners exercising their dogs do not clear up after their pet as there a specific bins located in park.
