  Pleasant little train station on the edge of Brighton, it's very looked after and has some interesting history boards that you can read. Trains are often delayed however this is due to southern rail not the station itself.

  The main member of staff at London Road Brighton station has to be one of the most incompetent individuals it has ever been my misfortune to encounter. Three times now he has managed to sell me the wrong ticket despite very clear requests - most recently I simply wanted to buy a day return to Chichester for that day and he managed to sell me one only value four weeks from now. His incompetence is so infamous in Brighton (and probably most of the South Coast) that other ticket office staff invariably groan when his name is mentioned. Other ticket office staff at this station are fine by the way.
