::The office staff are polite and respond to queries in a timely manner. Mr McClay is a professional and relatable Head Teacher, who has a clear direction for the school.

::Made the decision to send my child to this school based on Ofsted Good and improved attainment scores - apparently since Mr McClay has been head teacher. The school has a positive, friendly "vibe" and we enjoy a great rapport with all his teachers. The office staff are always extremely polite and helpful and this is a school that is going places.

::I cannot be where I am today if it wasn’t for everyone there. I was at Longthorpe through a Childcare course. It couldnt have done it with out the team of staff at Longthorpe. If it was not for them I would not be where I am today. The staff treat you like their own family. They would get along with all other staff which makes each day an enjoyable day and made the day for the children more efficient and more enjoyable. They also work around the clock getting everything prepared for the children and making sure each child was able to develop to their own best. The TA’s was absolutely amazing with the Special Education Needs (SEN) children. They do what’s right for the children and what they can to help them and not because they feel like the children should do it. The TA’S do it because they know that every child matters. If you are able to work at Longthorpe do it as the staff are amazing to work with.

::Was once a brilliant school when Mr White was in charge. Felt like like a community that genuinely cared for the welfare of children and their learning abilities. Now a head teacher has come in and change 40 years of tradition. He's cold and somewhat of a bully who has no compassion. School is more like a military camp than a school for learning. Individual children's needs are not met and the threshold for children in reception to reach is beyond unachievable. Also I would like to point out that Longthorpe has a major safeguarding issue that they have turned a blind eye to. It has been raised with the board of governors, but no action has been taken. This school is not what it used to be. Even teachers who taught years ago have become erratic and rude. I'm looking to move my child to another school who can cater to their learning abilities.

::I attended the school in the late 90s. Fantastic teachers including Cross, Antonelli, Andrews, Moon, King and Bigham etc. Now my children attend and it has a bully of a headteacher with shambolic leadership skills. Once the best school in Peterborough, but not anymore, just ask Ofsted!
