  bought a 2018 unicorn 4 from lowdhams in February . they gave us a very good p/x price for our old caravan and Wendy the sales person was excellent as was every one else we dealt with from start to finish . we would defiantly buy from them again.only one small problem was that the secure alko wheel lock was not put in the caravan but after calling them it was delivered to my house the next day .WELL DONE LOWDHEMS

  They’re all over you if you’re looking at buying a caravan or camper van. But, having made the purchase then I hope you didn’t have to make claims on the guarantee, especially if you’ve bought a Hymer that Lowdham have had for a year. Nothing but BIG problems. I can equate the process to ‘pulling teeth’ everything is a challenge to try and get your rights even down the one occasion when slow and defective blinds were not covered by Hymer and Lowdham wanted me to pay for the replacements. The ‘van was in my possession for less than 6 months! All was eventually resolved.......but it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth.

  Looked around today, receptionist didn't even look up never mind speak, none of the staff asked if we needed any help. I'd called ahead to ask if a particular caravan was in stock (it was on the website) and was told sorry no we don't have one. Except they did. Pretty useless and unhelpful but a good range of vans.

  Just purchased a new caravan from Lowdham's having previously owned a motorhome, purchased from them. Charlie the sales person was excellent with good service and advice, went beyond our expectations to assist us. The handover was performed by Shane who explained the "ins" and "outs" expertly with the offer of assistance at any point should we require it. The accessories team (Pete and Matt) were excellent, good service and advice on the purchase of items we did not already possess and required. Dean in the Awnings section went above and beyond, he was excellent. He talked us through our options on awnings (airbeam or poles) with no pressure on us to purchase and gave a complete explanation of benefits of the awnings we were considering. We finally settled on a brand with carbon fibre poles along with the ideal lighting solution. We are "happy campers", literally.

  Good accessorie shop and awning display, lots of caravans , motorhomes new and used for sale, can even find a tow car there for sale new or used
