  Came for a boxing event which was really good. From what I saw of the hotel it was really nice and not shabby. The drink prices are extortionate it cost £18 for a double Gin & Tonic and a pint of Stella.

  Attended a group lunch event. Food was fantastic. Unfortunately bar was not staffed all the time. Facilities very good apart from no toilet tissue in the disabled loo on the Horton suite level.

  This is a very nice hotel- clean and smart, with exceptionally high quality staff and plenty of small, unnecessary but lovely extras. We had a lovely stay there and will always use it for trips to Birmingham from now on. It's right in the heart of the shopping district, and New Street Station. We were surprised to find such a good hotel at such a reasonable price.

  Excellent hotel in the heart of Birmingham. Great for a city shopping trip.. loads of restaurants on the doorstep, so didn't use the restaurant there. staff were a bit miserable at times.. No acknowledgment to a 'good morning' from reception staff, just a blank stare... But all in all. Nice place to stay..

  We have stayed here previously and always been very happy. This visit surpassed our expectations! We were given one of the spacious newly refurbished rooms which we really enjoyed. We appreciate the still and sparkling water! Our breakfasts were excellent with service to the table. The service throughout the hotel is exceptional. Not intrusive but very attentive. Thanks again! And the hotel is situated in the middle of the city and very close to the station.
