::This is a restaurant that lives up to its reputation! We had the special Cawl made with lamb which came with a side of garlic bread. Was delicious. The Welsh Rarebit is also worth trying. The staff was also patient and friendly. Its not very big inside with some seats in the arcade.

::Cheese and wine tasting event, well worth a visit. A fun and informal informative evening. Lovely Italian meal and wine included in the price.

::Such. Amazing. Cheese. Literally this place makes me want to be rich just so I can buy loads of cheese from here. I had the goats cheese and bacon with onion jam baguette and it was incredible. The place is pretty pricey but for a treat meal it is so worth it

::Homely, fuss-free food set in a beautiful arcade! We were lucky to get a table on a busy rugby weekend. We ordered the Traditional Welsh rarebit and Welsh Lamb Cawl - both were simply delicious and the serving size was generous :) The service was great and the food came in a reasonable timeframe. Madame Fromage also has a great range of cheeses, chutneys and drinks to purchase. A great find!

::Madame Fromage is a spectacular example of what you can do with a simple idea and small space. Set in the Castle Arcade in Cardiff, the deli come lunchtime diner doesn’t seat too many people. No problem though as we will just take you across the walkway to another booth with plenty of tables up and downstairs. That is simple the setting. The food is to be commended. Simple, tasty baked cheeses, soups, salads, deli meats and homemade breads. What is not to like. Excellent house red wine also.
