  I can't recommend NMB highly enough, went very smoothly from design to installation. Highly professional job from Nev, Eddie and Liam. Kitchen was fitted during half term with the kids in the house and Eddie worked it so that there was minimal disruption, and the final kitchen is fantastic, with the fit and finish 100%. Also very trustworthy people. I will definitely contact NMB for any building work I need in the future.

  We have a very small kitchen but didn't want to lose outdoor yard space by extending as we use that a lot in the summer. This meant that our very small kitchen wasn't an easy job. We had got other building and kitchen firms to quote for the job but none of them approached it with the thought and time at the planning stage that Nev (and Eddy on the second visit) did. He made suggestions about altering the layout which hadn't occured to anyone else who had seen the kitchen and it has made a world of difference. They aren't massive changes and you would really need to think about the space and the job to ever come up with quite minor adjustments that weren't horrible costly but make SUCH a beneficial change. The new kitchen now works so much better than the old in terms of worktop spaces and location of appliances. We were really glad we chose the firm because otherwise we'd have paid good money to have the same less efficient layout put in again. North Manchester Builders got our job scheduled in really soon (we'd been afraid it wouldn't be possible before Christmas because we didn't decide to get the work done until the late summer/early autumn). As it was it was done by late November and we're now enjoying cooking in it so much more than we did in the old one. We also found it really reassuring that the price agreed was what it ended up costing (no upward creep as we've experienced with other firms). We're very pleased and now the kitchen feels like it actually belongs to the rest of the house and is no longer the embarrasing bit we never got round to sorting because we couldn't find the right people for the job - we did, it was North Manchester Builders. I've now recommended them to my Mum who before she found them had been waiting to fit a kitchen for about two years with an empty shell, again after being scared by other firms letting her down. She's going to finally have a kitchen in time for Christmas too! I'll put up some before and after photos if it allows me to add them later.

  A year ago we took on a badly neglected Edwardian house that needed much attention. NMB have helped us with nearly every aspect of our renovation project, demonstrating a high quality of workmanship and excellent customer care. They have almost become partners in our project. I am happy to recommend them to anyone.

  We have had issues in the past with other building companies so we were obviously concerned with what we could expect in relation to the quality of work, value for money and reliability of North Manchester builders. We needn’t have worried Nev and the Team were 1st class throughout. We are very pleased with our new decking. Ben worked very hard throughout the very trying heat wave conditions; he was extremely polite, friendly and fully understood exactly what we were looking for and delivered it and more. Chris was as equally professional with Roofing works that were carried out. Nothing was too much trouble and any outstanding issues were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. We will definitely be using north Manchester builders again and will recommend them to anybody wanting a quality job done.

  Had NMB do some work on our roof. Great service and fair price from a local firm. Workmen were friendly and helpful. Would recommend!
