  Massive size for inner city, lacks parking but makes up for this with wealth of food and clothing. The evening reductions are great. Much better than the M&S reductions of the outskirts. The clothing reductions are also well worth a look. Clearly geared for the inner city dwellers, there is an abnormally large amount of pre-packaged meals relative to the fresh food section.

  The shopping experience was fine with friendly efficient staff but lunch in the restaurant was a great disappointment. The restaurant was busy but we found a table that was unfortunately overloaded in dirty crockery. I asked two different staff members if they could please clear the table but neither of them did so. When a young lady brought our hot food she had to give the plates to me to hold whilst she took away one tray of the dishes. However she did not come back to finish the job so we had to pile the rest on to another tray and clear them away ourselves in order to make room to eat our good. We were not the only customers clearing dirty dishes from tables in order to eat!! As far as I could see there were only three staff to deliver all the food and try to clear tables. If you wish to keep your customers coming back you need to get better organised in the future!!!

  Typical M&S, similar to pretty much all the others. Food hall is the best thing about the store, the rest I can take or leave. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the lady on the food checkout who very efficiently packed my bags for me whilst chatting away all the time. If I lived in the area would definitely visit here again

  Fantastic customer service above and beyond more than once. I'm not a keen shopper when it comes to clothes yet 2 members of staff on one visit helped me find shirts that were my current size - regular fit with extra 2 inches. They didn't have many on the shelf but we managed to find some amongst all the 'normal' sizes. Very helpful indeed. Shame some of the older customers are so rude to the staff, treating them like personal servants and not polite - I have witnessed this a few times.

  Food wonderful as always. Sad to see customers treating clothes as they do in Primark leaving items they've dropped on the floor in the sales areas - maybe the odd sign might help. Did buy v nicely made top in sale at v good price. Husband looked at v nice tartan shirts but every one in the pile was a huge size - can't see how so many will ever sell.
