  Absolutely rubbish now they have an over 18 part of the pub with the pool table and big screen. So I can’t take my kids to watch the football anymore and have a few games of pool. What a waste of time. The pub was empty most days anyway.

  my family and i met up at the mill house on saturday 3rd march to celebrate my great granddaughters 2nd birthday the little party went well enough and afterwords a couple of stayed for some food we ordered sausage and mash for 3 of us and when it came out it wasn't on a plate as i was expecting it was served in large dishes the mash looked like it had been just thrown into the dish and the sausages were on top the mash there were also peas in there as well not that you could see much as everything was covered in thick gravy and one of our party hardly touched his i'm not at all impressed with the presentation at all.

  Quicker than McDonalds.. fast, friendly service and great, hot food

  Probably ok if you have kids and want a drink, cheap meal and soft play area during the day. By evening it was quiet so I could speak and be heard which was a positive . On then downside, I guess it's like doing a surprise visit to your aunties house before she's had time to tidy up and whip round with the hoover. Casual is probably the word to sum then place up. Fortunately I had great company .

  Just returned home after an excellent lunch with friends. I can't remember when we've enjoyed such a lovely meal in a pub! It might not be ultra modern & some fixture & fittings have seen better days but it's salt of the earth & traditionally honest excellently cooked food! All five of us fully contented & not a single moan!! Sure to return.
